I created this activity with slightly older kids (or perhaps adults) in mind, as a way to help them be creative without having to follow a pattern too strictly. It is a game I play often when I feel like doodling: I create a bunch of organic looking shapes and the imagine faces and creatures inside of those. I am posting here my own final result as well as my own blobs but I can’t wait to see what all of you come up with! It’s sort of like looking at clouds and seeing all sorts of creatures in there. All you need is to print the free template, add some faces and features and then color. Don’t forget to share your work with me in the comments! As Halloween is getting closer, I thought I would add a few crafts that you can do with your kids at home or at your classroom Halloween Party. For this craft all you need is to print the two templates, color the pumpkins (or print them directly on orange paper) and then cut out your favorite face and make your own jack o lantern!
There are so many combinations you are guaranteed to have loads of fun making as many pumpkins as you would like.

Halloween is near! Here is a free printable Halloween Craft to do with your kids at home or at your classroom Halloween party! All you need to do is print the template, color the pieces, cut them and then fasten them to each other with brass fasteners and you will have a dancing skeleton and a dancing Frankenstein ready to go and be the “life” of the party!

It could be also something fun to add to your easter basket together with some crayons, especially if you are trying not to fill it up only with a ton of candy! Here is another fantastic free Saint Patrick’s day activity: build your own Leprechaun!! All you need to do is cut out the parts (as you can see from the photo above you don’t need to be super precise about it, especially around details like the fingers!) and fasten the different parts with metallic brads. I was lucky to have some that actually look like buttons which I think adds a lot to the look, but any kind of metallic fastener will work, and voila’ you have your own dancing Leprechaun!! I have, as usual, created both a black and white version and a color version, in case any of you want to color your own or don’t have a color printer available. Enjoy, and don’t forget to send me pictures of your projects! I love receiving those!!
(Just right click on the images to print on letter paper. If you can print on cardstock even better, but paper works out too!)
