Free Printable Halloween Craft: Jack-o-Lanterns

Free Printable Halloween Craft: Jack-o-Lanterns

As Halloween is getting closer, I thought I would add a few crafts that you can do with your kids at home or at your classroom Halloween Party. For this craft all you need is to print the two templates, color the pumpkins (or print them directly on orange paper) and then cut out your favorite face and make your own jack o lantern!

There are so many combinations you are guaranteed to have loads of fun making as many pumpkins as you would like.

Did you make this craft? Please send me a picture! I would love to feature it in my website!

Happy Halloween!!

Mermaid and MerKitten bracelet craft

Mermaid and MerKitten bracelet craft

Summer is here, and with that comes summer break and bored kids! So here is my first summer project: two super cute bracelets of a mermaid and of a merkitten ! Just color them, cut them out and then slide the top part into the dotted slit at the bottom and you have a cute bracelet ! I recommend printing on card stock if you want it to last a little longer 🙂 I asked my 6 years old son to help me with the kitten and I colored the mermaid, aren’t they cute?

Build-a-Leprechaun Free Printable Kids Activity for Saint Patrick’s Day

Build-a-Leprechaun Free Printable Kids Activity for Saint Patrick’s Day

Here is another fantastic free Saint Patrick’s day activity: build your own Leprechaun!! All you need to do is cut out the parts (as you can see from the photo above you don’t need to be super precise about it, especially around details like the fingers!) and fasten the different parts with metallic brads. I was lucky to have some that actually look like buttons which I think adds a lot to the look, but any kind of metallic fastener will work, and voila’ you have your own dancing Leprechaun!! I have, as usual, created both a black and white version and a color version, in case any of you want to color your own or don’t have a color printer available. Enjoy, and don’t forget to send me pictures of your projects! I love receiving those!!

(Just right click on the images to print on letter paper. If you can print on cardstock even better, but paper works out too!)

Dress Up a Chicken ! – Cut and Paste Activity

Dress Up a Chicken ! – Cut and Paste Activity

New Year, new free printable activity!

As many of you know, I am an illustrator and lately I have been working on some chicken characters to add to my portfolio. My favorite has probably been this hipster rooster ( A roopster?) but if you are curious to see more then feel free to visit my portfolio website at www.gabriellavagnoli.com.

As I was sketching a bunch of different versions of this character I thought it would be fun to create an activity in which you can dress up your own rooster, similar to those paper dolls in which you have to cut up and dress up, but more fun because …well… you are dressing a chicken of course!

So, here it is in all its glory! The picture below is only a preview. To download the printable pdf click here: (there is also a black and white version for those, like me, who don’t have a color printer or just like to color their own).
